Interested in going back to school for a completely new type of degree? Consider the new BIS Degree offered at UNC Pembroke for non-traditional students.
Until now, if you had an Associates degree in Applied Arts or Sciences and you wanted to extend your education to a 4-year-bachelor's degree, you had to basically go back to school and lose the credits you gained in your earlier degree.
Now, there's a new option. Through UNC Pembroke you can get a 4-year bachelor's degree and not lose all those credits you earned earlier. That's right, the new Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies (BIS) degree program at UNC Pembroke allows you to apply most of the credits you earned getting an Applied Associates degree to a 4-year university degree.
